The Duke of Sutherland and Staffordshire Hospitals

Dukes of Sutherland were involved with funding and recommending patients to hospitals in Staffordshire during the nineteenth century. Documents from the time of George Granville Leveson-Gower, the second Duke of Sutherland (1786-1861) tell us about people who were treated at Staffordshire hospitals during this period.
